So Long Saloon, Manhattan

Yesterday me lance and jennifer went to So Long to eat lunch and to work on linear models (and we actually got work done :D ) Usually we (me and cole) get the raspberry dip, which is very good, but since i had no nicole i got a burger. I decided on my fav a Resist Temptation with fires, oh and an iced tea. the tea was very good this time, not too strong like normal. The fries were ok, i think they are like burger king fries. And the burger was very good, as always... i ate half right away and then ate the rest throughout working on homework....

Resist Temptation ($7.00) : A
It was not "awesome, awesome, awesome" but it was very good. I think the first time you goto So Long you should get this burger, or if you never have had it you need to try it, it is very good.

Chipotle, Manhattan

Well, it was after church time, football was on, and we were very hungry. So what do you do when you have no quick food in the house? Go to Chipotle.
We got our stuff to go, and besides the guy working there that had a personal war with the foil, there was not much to comment on the place. I got crunchy chicken tacos, one of my favorites, and nicole got a carnitas burrito with pinto beans. The dinner entertainment was good (Sunday night football), but i dont think Chipotle had anything to do with that. So...

Crunchy chicken tacos ($5.30): B
The salsa was very hot (it was just the tomato salsa [mild]), but my tongue was burning after eating the tacos. And some of the chicken was a bit burnt. But overall they did well, as always.

Panera, Manhattan

We went to Panera last night. I wanted the portabella and mozzarella panini, but they were out of that kind of bread. So then i asked for an Italian combo, but they were out of the bread that comes on as well, so i got it on tomato basil bread. I also got french onion soup. Both in' you pick two' form. I left the pepper on the sandwich, which i usually don't do, but it was pretty good, and the soup had alot of cheese on it, which was good, but the croutons didn't really go well with the soup, it could have just been me though. We ended up staying there for an hour and a half or so, so we got a chai latte, it was nice and warm.

You pick two ($6.50):
Italian combo: B (to repetitive of a flavor, and the tomato basil bread wasn't the best matching of the flavors, even though i guess it was my fault for getting it...)
French Onion Soup: B+ (It's good, but last night it wasn't, 'holy cow this is good'. And i thought the croutons were a bit to sourdough-y)
Chai Latte ($2.95): B (It was good, and had a different combination of spices than Radina's has, but i would prob get a different drink next time)

Quizno's

I got the french dip from our favorite baked sandwich place, Quizno's. It was 2.99 for a small, and 5.49$ for a medium. So i got two smalls (you get more sandwich with 2 smalls, than one med). I do have to say that it is one good sandwich. As long as they keep the price low on it, it is worth thinking about getting.

I give Quizno's French Dip an A-.
(lost some points cause the sandwich was a little soggy, and it was a repetitive flavor after a while.)
